Providence College Men’s Basketball And 12 Sports Partner For … – Providence College Athletics

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – For a second consecutive year, Providence College Men’s Basketball and 12 Sports are teaming up for PC Hoops With Coach Cooley. This season’s show premieres Sunday, January 29th.
 
The 30-minute show will air at 10:30 pm on FOX Providence every Sunday night for eight weeks this season. 12 Sports Director Morey Hershgordon will host the show that will feature an exclusive interview each week with Friar Head Coach Ed Cooley, as well as a behind the scenes look at his program.
 
Currently, the Friars are ranked No. 23/21, according to the most recent polls. The team is 4-0 in BIG EAST home games this season with wins over Marquette, UConn, St. John’s and DePaul. To date, the team is 11-0 at home overall this season and 32-1 in their last 33 games at the Amica Mutual Pavilion.
 
“We are excited to once again be partnering with 12 Sports for the PC Hoops with Coach Cooley,” Providence College Athletic Director Steve Napolillo said. “12 Sports is leader in our community. They continually provide our fans with quality coverage of Friar basketball and in depth analysis of the team.”
 
Coach Cooley has led the Friars to six NCAA tournaments, more than any other coach at Providence College. Cooley earned the 2022 BIG EAST Coach of the Year and the Naismith Coach of the Year award, becoming the first Friar coach to earn both honors.
