On Nov. 29, 2022 at about 2:51 p.m., users of the Nipigon Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment, Nipigon Fireplace, and Top-quality Emergency Health care Expert services (EMS) responded to a report of a critical two-car or truck collision on Highway 17 about 25 km east of Nipigon. The collision concerned a passenger motor motor vehicle and a commercial motor auto (CMV).
