People in the UK: how will you celebrate Halloween?

Halloween has become increasingly popular in the UK, with shops and businesses only too happy to cater to families and revellers who want to decorate their homes, attend ghoulish events and put on terrifying costumes come 31 October.

Do you participate in such spooky celebrations? Are you planning to transform your abode into a haunted house to horrify the neighbourhood? Is there a competitive element on your street? Will you or your family be trick or treating, going to parties or marking the occasion in some other way? Or do you hate the whole thing and just wish it would go away?
