Many cars have been reported as being “on fire” as a blaze has broken out at the Manchester Airport meet and greet car park. Witnesses have reported seeing a number of vehicles in flames at the car park in Styal. It has been reported that flames rising around 12ft into the air have been witnessed.

Pictures and video from the scene on Moss Lane show many cars burning.

The car park is around two miles from Manchester airport.

The video footage shows plumes of grey smoke coming from the cars.

Firefighters are now in attendance.

One witness said he’d been told three vehicles had caught fire.
