Tamil film ‘Appatha’ to open up Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Film Festival

Appatha, a Tamil film directed by director Priyadarshan, has been selected as the opening film at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Movie Festival. Starring Urvashi, the upcoming motion picture is billed as “a wonderful tale of an not likely bond” which reveals the values of respecting your moms and dads and obtaining oneself.

According to a push release issued Wednesday, the screening of Appatha will be held in Mumbai on January 27 at the Films Division Elaborate.

Priyadarshan mentioned the team is “honoured” that his directorial Appatha has been chosen as the opening film at the pageant.
“I would like to thank my producers Jio Studios and Vast Angle Creations for bringing this uncomplicated and charming story to me. It has been a pleasure collaborating on this film and superb to be doing the job with a phenomenal expertise like Urvashi on her
milestone 700th movie.

“Appatha is a little something various from everything I have tried earlier and I am seeking forward to looking at to how audiences react to it,” the acclaimed filmmaker explained in a assertion.

Appatha is prepared by Hardik Gajjar with a screenplay by Priyadarshan and Deepthi Govindarajan.

The Shanghai Cooperation Business Movie Pageant is organised by the Authorities of India, Ministry of Facts & Broadcasting by the National Movie Development Company in affiliation with the SCO Council of Heads of States.

The movie extravaganza will come to a near on January 31.
